What happened to Ellie+Ma?
Happy Mother's day Mothers. You are essential to your family, treasured and needed in this world. Shout out to all the different levels and forms of motherhood. We appreciate you.
I felt it was important to share why I’ve been absent from posting on my Ellie+Ma business page lately.
Hi, my name is Stephanie(Ma), I am the co-founder of Ellie+Ma, a natural skincare brand that prioritizes natural, clean, simple effective products for everyone.
🎉💐Welcome to our first Blog Post 💐🎉
As a mom and entrepreneur, balancing the demands of both worlds can be quite the challenge. Motherhood is a full-time job in itself, and when you add entrepreneurship into the mix, burnout can quickly ensue.
Over the past few months, I will admit that I've been struggling. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find the balance. Between running a business, managing a household, and caring for my little ones, it can be difficult to find the time and energy to create engaging content.
I reached a point of burnout right in the thick of raising new infant twins + Ellie and I was pushing myself too hard to do it all. The stress was taking a toll on my mental and physical health. I knew I had to take a step back and prioritize self-care.
As a mom, I have always put my children first. But I’ve learned that I can’t be the best mom or business owner if I’m not taking care of myself first. So, I decided to take some time off from social media to focus on recharging and balancing my responsibilities.
In doing so, I’ve learned the importance of setting boundaries and asking for help when I need it. It’s okay to say no to certain opportunities or delegate certain tasks to others. As moms and entrepreneurs, we can’t do it all and it’s important to recognize that.
As Mother’s Day is here, I want to remind all the moms out there that you are doing an incredible job, whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a working mom, or a mompreneur. It’s important to prioritize self-care and not let the pressures of being a “supermom” overwhelm you. Easier said than done, I know but you ought to remind yourself.
I'm aware of the long road ahead as consistency is how you grow on IG but accepting that this is marathon and fixing the backend of things first is what centers me, keeps me still invested and motivated. Our comeback will be worth the wait.
I hope that my experience serves as a reminder to prioritize self-care and ask for help when needed. We all need a break, and that’s okay. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there!
Also thank you for those who are still riding with us, the orders, the DMS and more. I appreciate them all.
Love you all,
Ma ✨
